Friday, September 17th, 2010HURRICANE EARL on WEDDING DAY
Monday, September 13th, 2010York Beach, Maine – The Henry and Sarah wedding party (minus the girls who were busy drinking champers and getting pretty) made the short trek up to Long Sands beach to find some gusty off-shore and perfect Hurricane Earl surf. The visitors’ exclamation of the day (“This is what Maine is like??!!”) was met with local pride (“Park yeeeer caaaaar and git in da rollers!”) as 10-12 people jumped in with their Palm Boards and had some fun. The groom grabbed a Mackers tray and brought Hawaii to Maine, Sanford killed it as usual, and a couple of first-timers realized what they’ve been missing.
Thanks to Dan Vellucci for making it happen w/ the video!
New England is windy
Tuesday, August 24th, 2010There is lots of wind this week and with wind comes surf and in New England that means exploring and with exploring comes long hours in the car which leads to hiking which leads to… No posts yet this week. Call me lucky.

Here is something from last week…
Northern California Adventure
Saturday, August 21st, 2010Northern California is great in the summer. Its windy and cold near the water then hot and dry inland. I got a new Palm Board to Roy who is quite the waterman for a guy from the Great Salt Lake. Before we got too far we had an impromptu photo shoot with AB and SB. They always seem to have a good time!
We drove around Western Marin looking for a couple body-surfable wedges, fresh oysters, and cold beer. Mission accomplished.
We wrapped the weekend up with an engagement party on top of Sonoma Mountain. Cooking on a oak fire, copius amounts of great beer, better wine , and the very best of friends and family made for a perfect send off for the west coast kid. Thanks California.

Palm Boards East Coast Fun-O-Rama
Monday, August 16th, 2010Today Palm Boards dipped into the cold North Atlantic. Waves were great! I’m the li’l guy in the lower left.
Sarah Brown and I left Cardiff August 5th with a trailer full of all our possesions. We landed in Kittery Maine on the 13th. Over the eight days of travel we talked to some artists, distributed a couple handys, and enjoyed the US of A.
I’ll be dropping a couple stories over the next two weeks starting with a profile of Northern California’s body surfing and photography guru Nick Allen!
Stay tuned for pictures and stories from the road.
