York Beach, Maine – The Henry and Sarah wedding party (minus the girls who were busy drinking champers and getting pretty) made the short trek up to Long Sands beach to find some gusty off-shore and perfect Hurricane Earl surf. The visitors’ exclamation of the day (“This is what Maine is like??!!”) was met with local pride (“Park yeeeer caaaaar and git in da rollers!”) as 10-12 people jumped in with their Palm Boards and had some fun. The groom grabbed a Mackers tray and brought Hawaii to Maine, Sanford killed it as usual, and a couple of first-timers realized what they’ve been missing.
